The need of environmental defence, the request for modularity of the new installations and the new production technologies have led to the realization of polyethylene equipments, produced through direct hot-pressing to face situations requiring a high grade of water and hydrocarbon impermeability , as well as a high grade of ground chemical reagents attack resistance, and a long life with the passing of time. Besides this, the polyethylene sumps make, above all, both the installation and the maintenance easier than the traditional masonry sumps.
